Blue eyed beauties...

To this day I still can not believe that I have TWO blue eyed children. I would think their eyes would have changed by now if they were going to change. They are almost 15 months old. Both Dane and I have brown eyes... and here we are with two kids with blue eyes. Sometimes when people stop us in the store, they say "wow they have gorgeous eyes"... then they look up at us, and I feel like they are thinking "Well they definitely didn't get them from you" Haha. That is right... they got them from their Grandpa Ken, and Grandma Vicki. The odds were 25% chance for each child. Crazy.

As with all pictures on here, you can click to make them larger.

This one is a cute picture of my little Drake. For some reason I have been calling him "bubba" a lot lately!
Here is Kera... she LOVES stuffed animals lately! She got almost all of them off of their play box storage unit, and brought them into the living room. Her favorite are these two... the bunny we got her for Easter, and the dog we got Drake before they were born.
Last but not least... Drake trying to open the front door!!! He keeps pulling out the door stopper in the play room, and he shuts the door, and then they both start screaming bloody murder. I try to get in, I put the stopper back, only for him to do it again. I think I got the stopper underneath the door better, hopefully it doesn't happen again.

I love the one of him trying to open the door!

I doubt their eyes change, but it is possible.

They are too cute!

They have these white sponge "U shaped" things for doors at any place that sells baby things (usually).

You place them above the door handle and there is no way for them to shut the door. :) They're awesome

About Me

My name is Melissa Schilling. I am married to my wonderful husband Dane who I have been with for 10 years. We have toddler twin babies Drake and Kera. I started this blog in hopes to one day be a photographer. As for right now my husband and I are using photography as a hobby we can do together. We are starting the 365 day project August 1, 2009. I can't wait to start to learn more and more about my camera. I look forward to any feedback. I will be mostly focusing on people subjects, because that is what I am interested in. However there may be a few other types of photography in the mix.

Thanks for looking at my photo blog, please follow me if you are interested in seeing all of my work, and where this takes me in the future.
