Apple pie

Today I was taking pictures and I took this picture...

I adore my ring, and I love my husband. We have been together for so long. It is so crazy to think back on how we met, and what we have went through to get to where we are at now. He is my life, he is my everything. He is an amazing husband and an AMAZING father.

Today we made an apple pie together.

He made most of it, including the crust... I just mixed the filling together, he did the rest.

Here is the top of the crust after I brushed it with milk and sprinkled extra sugar on top YUM.

Here it is fresh out of the oven (hubby took this picture)

and here it is when we dug into it. It is pretty runny, we didn't have enough apples, but it was still oh so yummy, and a definite Thanksgiving and Christmas pie for years to come. Next time we'll get more apples. The aroma in the air smelled like McDonald's apple pie! YUMMY!

About Me

My name is Melissa Schilling. I am married to my wonderful husband Dane who I have been with for 10 years. We have toddler twin babies Drake and Kera. I started this blog in hopes to one day be a photographer. As for right now my husband and I are using photography as a hobby we can do together. We are starting the 365 day project August 1, 2009.
